Htc still support things such as the hero and magic, yet SE are stopping support for the X10i.

I personally am looking forward to HTC bring out their tablets, rumours about them releasing at least three different ones, and possibly a new version of sense just for the tablets.

The DHD will be around for some time yet, you can still get the hero and legend and the original desire, so the DHD will be here for a bit yet.

As for the new rumoured HTC phones, there looks to be some really nice stuff coming out, just need to see what is real and what is fake, then wait until one of my contracts is up to upgrade.

X10 has lost support se already said it wont be getting Gingerbread, se's answer is to get a new phone. Really rubbish that se won't support consumers for at least the length of a contract where as on the other hand other manufacturers like HTC get full support and especially at places like xda. Se are only putting gingerbread in the Arc as they know nonone will buy it.

The DHD I'm sure will be still available end of Feb, it's a very popular phone and excellent features.

There are some photos popping up of new HTC phones not too much in the way of specs so far but the trend is having the latest and better with HTC with whatever they bring out.

As I said in the XX10i thread,
I don't think X10i needs the 2.2.1 Froyo Update,

before I updated my Wildfire to that I used to get a decent charge out of it,
then a few days after installing it I found my HTC constantley on charge all the time!

HTCs have really iffy battery life and they need to sort it out BIGTIME!
my X10i lasta way longer then a Wildfire or a Desire so far ive got 4 whole days staright out of my X10i,
whereas the HTC would have needed re-fueling about 4 of that

anyway I hope they sort this issue out in there next line-up of devices!
HTC are good manufacturers Im not missing my Wildfire one bit since the change

Yeah well my DHD lasts just the same as my X10.

Theres people on xda getting 59 hours out of a single charge and actually using the phone, yeah sure you can get a week out of an Android phone if you dont use it.

The only reason there was talk about DHD battery life is because theres things like HTC sync, weather options of updating very frequently and all the other updating thats happening things like Twitter, Facebook, Email checking etc etc. But if and once people do set it up correct they will find they there battery life is GREAT!

I have even looked specifically at what is using battery life over 2 weeks on the DHD with an application called Watchdog that has been recommended on xda and absolutely no applications run when it shouldn't, Android 2.2 only uses applications when it needs to hence why you don't even need things such as Task Killers in 2.2 which does actually make newer Android better and of course having full support of all new applications.

The X10 isn't getting gingerbread thats already been said officially by SE, they want consumers to go and buy a new phone instead of supporting their flagship phone properly.

But I dont care in the slightest, I'm very happy with HTC and thats all that matters.

Reminds me a lot of the camera on the Nokia 5800 with the digital smearing and aggressive noise filtering, it drove me mad when reviewing the N8 as i tried to use the 5800 as a camera when doing size comparison to the X10 and 3GS and the pics came out like the above.

Any photos blown up to the full actual original size has noise. That can be seen in the Arc, X10, iPhone the lot.

This is your photo taken with an X10 at a smaller size, look at all that smearing around the roof especially the peak and yours is a tiny 640 x 480

So whats all that smearing on the X10 blamed on then? operator error?

I know, I have plenty of noise filled X10 photos having the X10 since launch aswell as from cameras with Exmor-R. iPhone etc are no different either and there's plenty of examples of all those on this site as well.
