agreed. I've pretty much given up on getting a whote iPhone 4 as, even if it does come, it will be in short supply and hence... expensive and even I these days don't have cash to throw around.
maybe they can figure out the manufacturing issues for iPhone 5!

while following this issue, I've always understood its simply a production quality issue.
The latest news I read about that was here although a few are alegedly in the wild as I've seen a pic with Steven Fry having a white one (but perhaps he was having the same joke as me!  )

 perhaps he was yes. I recently read that staff in an Apple factory making iphones were exposed to hazardous chemicals again. Perhaps they spilt all the white paint

i guess if you really really had to have a white iphone now you could get a conversion kit from iresq, even though i dont see the point

unfortunately that looks fake, or a housing/case etc as the main body of the phone seems to be indented compared to the sides, and the button doesn't like right either

Yes it has to be cos if they cannot make any now then there cannot be any around surely?? So many website are still saying pre order your white iphone 4 now. I doubt you can pre order now yet can you??

I'm sure there are always sites wjete you can pre order almost anything that is rumoured, or even moreso stuff like this that is officially announced and supposedly definitly coming at some time in the future!

It's possible that it is fake, the screen does look like its offset to the rest of the body but that might be due to the angle and lighting of the photo.

ive got a funny feeling that we wont get it till July 2011
I think there just gunna give us that but a fully functional one without the Antenna
