Thanks, now I really need to see the Hazel display in comparison with others, so I am requesting center again to do a comparison please.

Sorry for the delay, had Elm instead Hazel:

New models not look good - their colors are faded

Hey. I have a w995 and actually i find the screen quite good, only the white tone is a bit off. My friend has the hazel. I don't think I noticed any difference between the two.
You can always try a custom driver for the display

(IMO keep your W995, it's better... specially the speakers. Play a bit with custom drivers and wait for a phone worth replacing your w995)

@TS

If you're concern is a vibrant display..why not check Samsung S7220 Ultra b (that is if its still available in your country). It has an Amoled display (but may struggle under the sunlight), great cam according to GSMArena. And I think it's a good alternative to Elm or C901.

More colors means smoother color transitions; Hazel has a larger screen than the Elm, but the resolution is the same, which means the Hazel has larger pixels (slightly). Larger pixels means that the color transitions are less smooth; this is compensated in the Hazel by giving it a 16m colors screen in stead of a 256k colors screen.

As for the brightness and color intensity, that depends on the ambient light; low light will turn down the backlight of Greenheart phones, making the colors seem more dull.

I previously owned a W995 and I was shocked by the poor display of it, the colors looked so faded, though it had 256K screen. The best 16M colored display (non touch) I owned was the N95. Can I expect same from Hazel? or better or worse?
Thanks.

You're the first person saying this about W995 display. W995 display is excellent even under direct bright sunlight.. And its 262K display is far better than n95 16M display. Even my older K850i 262k display is far better than nokia n95, 6500 slide and many other nokias which have 16M colour display.

In simple words, Sony 262K display is better than Nokia 16M display.

You asked about Hazel display.. I'm not sure about it but my Papa has a Yari (U100i) and its 16M display is very vibrant and better than K850i, W995. [addsig]

Strong WiFi pickup too, not sure about the Hazel but my Elm has a more difficult time grabbing onto less than ideal hotspots.

Elm seems to have a weaker wi-fi signal emitter than most other wi-fi enabled phones... it can detect hotspots just as well, but the range of its own wi-fi signal sometimes is too low to actually contact a hotspot and connect to it. Probably also has something to do with the whole greenheart deal...
