hmmm. I just updated my Aino over the air. No visible difference. No extra game. In fact the only difference is that my PS3 can no longer read my Aino's music files from iTunes, something that was never previously a problem. It has put me off updating the phones firmware in the future.

Yeh, I'll try to do it from a PC. But I heard that the PS3 has problems reading AAC files (which is what my iTunes uses). I just don't understand why it is suddenly having problems after this latest firmware update on my Aino. It can still still read the movie files, but not the music ones. Weird.

Yeh. I want to be able to read messages without opening the slider. And I want to be able to control the timing on sleep mode. I find that when Im using Opera the thing keeps going to sleep too quickly and I have to open the slider to 'wake it up.'

Aino is about one year now.
Maybe SE will release a FW someday that takes care of some bugs, but I doubt there will be new functions.

Looking at history there will be 2 more updates, Only for speed, energy and bugs.
But.. What's wrong with hoping for a major UI change

We live in hope!

Actually, I got sick of needing to reboot my phone every few days to get the touchscreen working again, so I reloaded the current firmware and only reinstalled some of the apps I was previously using (Snaptu, Opera, UC Browser, Dictaphone, Calender Wallpaper, First Aid, etc). So far, so good. I haven't had to reboot for a week! It's possible that one of the apps I left out (World Clock perhaps) was causing an issue.

good to know that haribolman!

I really hope would make the phone snappier. and they would add an app killer to free up memory space. I have 49mb before i browsed via wi-fi. after clearing cache, history and passwords, its now 46mb.

Another week later and my phone has still not needed rebooting! So it seems I've fixed the screen freezing problem. It was probably a conflict with a previous app I was running all the time. Also, I removed my screen protector and the screen is so much more responsive. Almost as good as the X10 mini!
