the driver needs manual shutter speed it seems
1/6400 to 2 seconds/maximum shutter speed
anyone know what the slowest shutter speed you can have for c901?

Is it possible to use manual focus and change EV? When I try to turn the manual settings off the image goes out of focus (back to infinite).

yes you can. you must set EV first (choose option "OFF" in manual menu). after change EV, then you can use/change manual focus

in combination between manual focus and other setting, manual focus must be set in behind, after you set other settings.

imo,the most important is slowest shutter speed. but it's difficult to find the parameter that control the shutter speed. in original camdriver, the slowest shutter speed afaik is 1/2s (in twilight landscape mode). cmiiw

Maybe we could bend it to 2sec maximum, imo.
And so, could you put separate party mode (shutter speed: 1sec + ISO 100)?
Maybe like this:
Twilight landscape set in 2sec+iso100 (or more than than in order to change TL scene to firework).
And twilight portrait to party mode. It would be great.

@code

good idea, but for party mode wouldn't a faster shutter speed be better? the subjects at a party would be moving around so you would get motion blur with a long shutter speed

@mriley
Yup blurry moving object was the point of party mode. Usually take on 1 sec shutter speed (as I've seen on a pocketcam with that scene). And firework one do at 4 sec. Hope C901 has support that limitation.

no, because i rarely use the functions.
all i wanted are there already,
1. forced-flash
2. better saturation especially for macro during normal shot
3. manual focus (for video recording)

iso speed, saturation control and all other things are considered extra bonus for me.

thank you!

erm, i just realized that auto mode with flash is just the same with twilight potrait with flash.
i thought in original camdriver, twilight potrait with flash supposed to have slower shutter speed (fixed at iso200)?

i'll be glad if somehow you can include back this function in next updates, because i find it faster to switch modes using button number '6'.

btw, thank you again mr.jigonx for providing this camdriver mod.
