I tried it and I also get an error in Opera mini mod 2.06. I entered all the settings exactly like on the third post and I can browse the vodafone live website for free. The error says the following: An error occured c:msg:Invalid host name ex=cd=4 resp=0 host=live.vodafone.com@80.232.117.10:80).
I am sure that I am using the vlive! internet profile with the right vodafone proxy and everything (else I wouldn't be able to browse vodafone live for free in any way).
Please help! |

what phone are you using? Some phone doesnt support the @ tricks on java apps like my phone n3230 s60v2 os7. |

I am using a Sony Ericsson K850i.
BTW I will never use anything else ;-)

Every one of my settings are right, what could I be doing wrong?
I keep getting invalid host name.
Im using Vlive! , but I cant access the homepage. Im using a k850i. |

@Ishaq can you browse live.vodafone.com on your default browser? I'm using w200i they dont differ much. Maybe I can help you! |

Are you registered on vodacom4me? if not! register and get your username and password then loggin again to activate your account, then try http://live.vodafone.com on your default browser it should be free. Here is where you must register http://www.vodacom4me.co.za goodluck. |

Ok I still can't get free browsing working. Here are all my settings, please check if I am not doing something wrong.
Here are my internet profile settings:
Data account name: Vlive!
APN: Vlive
Username:
Password:
Login request: Off
Ip address: ...
DNS address: ...
Authentication: PAP
Data compression: Off
Header compression: Off
Proxy settings: On, multiple
Proxy: On
Same for all servers: Off
Proxy servers-
HTTP: Proxy address: 196.006.128.012 Port: 8080
Secure: (Same as HTTP)
Streaming: (Same as HTTP)
Here are the settings I put into Opera mini mod 2.06:
I am using a data bundle though, but when I browse live.vodafone.com it doesn't use any of my data bundle or airtime.
Ok and the error that Opera mini gives is this:

Im curious about that internet.vodacom
does it have ip? doest it have free site?
Cause i think that one is likely the same as we are using the http.globe.com.ph which we always use for the ip trick,
philippines = S.A
Globe Connect = vlive
Globe Inet = internet.vodacom
we always use Globe Inet for the trick, because we can change the ip or proxy address, try figuring out the trick in internet.vodacom 'cause vlive uses only dot and @trick which can be block sooner or later. |
