ok salimbaba,
i'll suggest you a solution to your prob.
its a bit kindof unsystematic but u can try it...
get a white paper tape, cut a small portion to correctly cover the flash, and stick on it.
try taking a pic. if the result is negative, stick one more on top of it and try...
I personaly tried it and got good result. But there is a catch...
the flash doesnt go beyond 1 meter or so,
so if your subject is a little far you would get it dark.. (all this is for nightshots ok)
try it....

thanks 4 trying..
but it cleared ur problem to some extend right?
still u can experiment with it...
Actually the problem may be with the flash. I think its producing more than needed light.
I tried with my N82, and it doesn't. The pictures are fine.
maybe someone comes with a way to reduce the intensity of flash light or to control it....

hi,
maybe we can change the timing of the flash a little bit
so that it fire before or after the shutter closes thereby creating a less exposed
frame....

K850 does not over-expose images when used properly. Make sure that your light sensor is cleaned. Its important.

You may use Manual Shutter-speed or Manual low ISO to get properly exposed images. Its really very simple with this driver. Just switch EV to -1.0 for ISO 100. Take a shot. It won't be over-exposed at all.

Yup, witchking is right! I too had that problem of flash being too bright and pics coming out looking like a ghost till I cleaned the sensor with a wooden toothpick

Now, It's working perfectly and with a modded cam driver like the Cybershot Xperience, it works even better.
Try cleaning the sensor really good and like witchking said, it won't be over-exposed at all.
