Thanks for your reply.

How I wish you were right, however I'm still getting the "Communication error, turnoff your wifi etc" message everytime I try to load a page in the browser...and if I try to connect to a secure network, the "Could not connect to network" notice appears every time. I've searched the forum for similar issues, and I've tried all the suggested solutions..except for debranding the phone, lol. I guess I'll try to wait and see if anything will change when the SIM gets activated, although I really doubt it has anything to do with it.

Hi guys, just been reading though the post's ,
Got to say this phone is the best I have had.
Right I have owned one before briefly , the last one I had Bbc iplayer with in the firmware , that was very very handy for me, the new one I have does not.
Would it be worth installing a different firmware version or just install the missing app via a2 .
Thanks for you time in advance,
Alexslane.

I am unable include the script in my reply so if you PM me an email address I can send it to you.

Hi Jaax,

I uploaded the xml file you sent into the folder and hey presto - RSS feeds are back. Many thanks for this.

However, one odd side-effect seems to be that under Media, the BBC iPlayer option has now moved into the Music section, rather than being under Videos - did this happen for you too?

Hi,

I'm trying to install a previous firmware back onto my 995.. I hav an orange branded handset which had no problems.. I then debranded using A2 then updated to the latest FW using SEUS.. Now I'm getting a "No network coverage" message.. Is there anyway to revert back to the previous FW and then try the update again as SEUS tells me I have the latest softawre and gives me no option to repair..

Any help would be highly appreciated..

Cheers

Dan

Cheers man,

I tried that.. I'm thinking the phone could actually be blocked, but I don't understand why it was working fine before I used SEUS.. Oh well I'm selling it on eBay as faulty now..

hi, is R1HA036 for some selected networks or is it a generic firmware for all W995?
Today SEUS updated my W995 to R1HA035 not to R1HA036..
Is __035 latest one? [addsig]

if i'm not mistaken, selected network will have the same fw version for that particular region and for generic fw update it will depend on region. btw mine is 1225-5471 R1HA036 apac-anz
