But why take pics at a distance of 2 metres?? I would like them to use the xenon atleast a distance of 4 metres from the wall.

It should be able to illuminate the whole room if it was in complete darkness. Even though the xenon flash unit looks smaller than the one used on the N82, it should still be able to illuminate the room pretty well.

a absolutely adore the noise filter and the post processing on this one!!! just like the old K750i!!!!! perfect noise and sharpness balance. What SE failed to do, samsung did it (failed = gave up). If the satio will use the same (i doubt it :/) i will bag it.

Having read the second part of the review, i felt slightly let down when they mentioned the video recording was a bit of a let down..so close to being perfect (for me)...having been use to the n82's very good video recording. still...theres time yet...

The label at the lower right edge is weird i think that only thing that's impressive imo is the camera and flash quality as everything from design, display, and software is merely copied from their previous models. i wont expect M8920 to take better shots than this anyway because of one thing: zoom lens.

Shame on them

QVGA video so yesterday very right indeed. Even Nokia on some of their cheaper phones were making VGA video recording years ago although at 15fps it was still better than SE. What i dont understand is why when Sony Ericsson has the name Sony under their badge and they are from the far east like Samsung or LG yet Sony are still so far behind? I dont get it. Why is Sony not putting more of its tech and know how into its venture with Ericsson? Sony were once the top innovators whats happened? Well done to Samsung for racing ahead i say. Many years ago i hated Samsung.
Phone?? What phone??

GSMArena says that the video recording is pretty disappointing.

i could be wrong, but back in the day, didn't the w900 have vga vid @30fps? Im sure the se rep highlighted its video prowess. .it was a few years back so. .
