@dc26919568:
alright dude~
but that won't work in auto mode u know~(default 00)
the contrast of flash in mu drv. has been given another way in flash code section....

and remember higher sharpness provides more macros while it produces more noise as well..

@corer
Thx for reminding, I actually wanna touch the contrast of flashed pic =P, but it will make things easy to over ( Currently, I left it to post process, e.g. PhotoDJ on the phone / other SW on the computer ) Anyway, I also want to know which Code I need to mod...
Things that I reli like in your driver are the manuel setting and flash mod (flash as accurate as Fujifilm DC) U give is far more usefull than that of CX....(those in CX some how seems for a webcam....though)
One thing I wanna ask it that under slow sync. flash mode, is your driver provide a feature like that in CX allowing manuel shutter or a predefined shutter?
One point I want to suggest in your next Issue, it is possible to make use of the distance info. used in the smart flash system to hv the WB modded to the following minor adj.:
Close (macro?) keep the current WB setting
Far, tune the wb a bit less reddish and less yellowish

Corer, are u also a Photography player? Your mod seems to tell me this fact

@ceaser2008:
Seems there is no uploading option in this forum....
To make the driver the same setting as me, U can make Use of the Microsoft Words "find and replace" function to quickly adj the driver.
do the following
#COM_EVENT(55,$w4) >>#COM_EVENT(55,$w5)
#COM_EVENT(55,00) >>#COM_EVENT(55,01)
and also #COM_EVENT(56,$w4) >>#COM_EVENT(56,$w6)
result of without flash (exposure +1ev, others all orginal):
Orginal

100% crop

and em..my enhanced flash codes were also brought into CX8.0 which's named "Auto ISO Flash" .
um....I did have written different WB values in different distance as well....even in different light conditions....

did I shown u this? http://www.mobibal.com/thread-31526-1-1.html may it be useful 2 u..

I understand wht U mentioned in that link, but i think, in your driver, it can still turn the constrast a little bit higher for flashed far subject to reduce foggy feel, for close subject, it is good enough now~
For the CX, flash, I felt a bit different from yours, still I think ur TS is the best^v^
Btw, U are studying abroad/ in a exchange Semaster?

U right, but contrast cannot be intelligently altered by distance.... maybe cuz of the firmware/CPU....it can only be set 2 one value. Close-up shots wud turned out 2 b over-exposed if contrast increased ~

well....i'm not studying abroad nor exchanged

I hv come up with a rather crazy idea about the problem of foggy pic under flashed ones
It is possible to directly initiate some function of the PhotoDJ after a pic before actually save it @ the camera driver coding?
Or just implementing some of them, especially, reduce brightness and increase contrast (it seems very special in the contrast setting in the photoDJ, coz less over expose while darken the foggy area )
The internal photoDJ seems to give some how good result of helping under contrasted pic with flash:
Orginal:

After PhotoDJ ( 1.reduced brightness & icreased contrast 2. auto level)

@ceaser2008
for ur interest
Customized TS
Ultra VS (very unfair)
K850i with TS 7.39 vs Fujifilm F50fd (first by K850i followed by F50fd):
Given K850i is 5MP downsize to 1MP and F50fd is 12MP downsize to 1MP

All Auto without any compensation parameters being set.
Set 1

Set 2 (just test for flash control, coz Fujifilm is well known for it's flash control on Macros in DC, and that the base ISO is different)

Result is rather impressing^v^

P.S. A suggested setting towards Portrait when using Corer's TS (for pinky skin tone that U always see in Asian's Magazine)
1. Use spot metering
2. Set the Exposure to +0.7ev
3. Decrease the Saturation to -0.7ev
3. The Hue/tint (I dont know wt it is in the Eng. version, sori) -0.3ev to 0.7ev(towards to red)
4. WB set to -1.7ev

@dc26919568:
I'm afraid it may not b realised....or at least I'm not able t do so``
thinkin' it needs firmware support.

and to yr idea 'bout self-timer..don think that's determined by the drv. also firmware obviously..

PS:try my patch 4 HK firmware.....not so sure if that is similiar to that of APAC_CHINA.....and does generic version.
check it out here
waitin 4 yr feedback
