The phone can easily be sold for a new one, get the same price if it's in mint condition, especially on eBay where they go for around £160 you could even make some money

bad experience for me is the keypad and slippery plastic of battery cover so the phone easily slips out my hand - not to be given to clumsy relatives

ok, I think I can (must) live with that dust underneath glass. in next month it will get some extreme shocks on the bike in mountains and maybe something will change for better. still I don't understand how is this possible? how is this possible ? dust in the cameraphone?

I even tried to open the glass with no luck but after this attempt I have beautiful scratch, thankfully it's small... so... shit happens, music plays and the caravan goes further blah blah

any progress?

nope

I recently found out how to change the strength of the flash output.
Is it just me that didn't know how to do this?

how?

nearest SESC is 100km from me in the next city, I don't want to ride there only with the phone problem, it's waste of time. I'll visit them sooner or later, I have 2 years, I hope so

@raider

Select scene: Normal
Select focus: Infinity
Select EV +2.0 and take a pic with the flash on
Select EV -2.0 and take a pic with flash on

Sometimes theres no difference sometimes the difference is huge, dooes anyone notice any difference like me?

This means that you should do macro pics with flash on, instead use macro focus.

ahh, you mean EV, I thought so yes it's possible to control flash power with it, sometimes it's possible (if 0.0EV is not an upper limit of exposure time in selected scene mode) to use +EV and get more brightness (ISO still 200 but longer exposure time). -EV are more useful because you can go down with ISO and make some pictures not overexposed

Hello all,
This phone just arrived today, and it's pretty sweet.

Quick question: I can't seem to be able to get the Walk Mate application to work, and I can't find any controls within the app. I gave it all the permissions, and the accelerometer is working fine. It just won't count steps. Any ideas how to get it to work?

Thank you for your time,
- Jack

@LumberJack

It doesn't work for me either, i enter app and just get the option to Exit and some fancy table which goes nothing, ive had the phone ages, but never realized till now

Downloading the app from the net and installing it on the phone would probably work.

The phone can take up to 8GB memory card if your gonna buy a new one

I have used up pretty much all my phone memory - had to delete all files default on the phone to fit in enough room for more flash menus

EDIT

Just realized the Walkmate app does work... it doesn't start counting straight away ,as it needs to asinine walking pace etc.
