The one i seen in O2 store was like a girly bright pinky purple. Yuk. It did feel a little hollow the casing

Yeah I felt it was a bit more solid than the dummy, but still not as solid as a W995 for example. I saw a pink W595 yesterday too, and that was nasty.

I'm writing here because I received information by email that I managed to win the C903 phone on the Facebook Cyber-shot Contest by Sony Ericsson... I have to say I'm very happy about this... Probably the times will be soo long, but as soon as I'll have it I'll post my impressions since I read quite a lot of negative comments about it, both software and hardware-wise... Theorically it should be a good upgrade from the C702  Anyway in my country they sell it about 279/299 €, that's a bit expensive I think... |

C903 now in January sales @ Phones4U down another £10 now £109 + £10 top up on Orange. Though phone is not branded or locked.

Dialaphone is selling the C903 on PAYG for £79.99 on the 3 network, £89.99 with the £10 top-up (from hotukdeals forum). Someone on there replied that Dialaphone's stock is unbranded and unlocked, so I've went for one (I'm on Orange). I used to have a K750i and K810i. Hoping this one isn't a dud, after the thrashing SE has suffered with the C905 and Satio's bad reputation.
One review says that the C903's camera isn't much better than the K810i, which worries me a bit..

 :-o:-o:-o £79 wow!! The camera is the same as c902 it takes good pics. Yes let me know asap i may get one. They more than likely are unlocked because this phone is not officially on those networks except O2

Of course. I'll let you know if it's unlocked, then give my impressions of the phone. I like the familiarity of being with a brand I'm used to; of course if they're now churning out rubbishy phones it's time to move on!
A reviewer said that Sony Ericsson may well turn into Motorola, and be overtaken by Samsung and LG. Let's hope not..

Got my C903 today. Sadly, it doesn't come unlocked! It's not reading my Orange SIM. Going to try Aerix as recommended by those on the HUKD forum. Wish me luck!
PS: The phone is unbranded and no network software. In the box (in mine, anyway) there's no USB cable, which might annoy those who are new to SE.
Edit: Woops, forgive me, I've just noticed as I switched the phone off it *does* have 3 Software on it. Bah.

Bit stuck here if anyone can help! Having no joy using Aerix with this phone. Logged in my registration details and tried the Primary and Secondary Servers. Then tried pressing 2 & 3, then holding the C button. Keep being told "Boot Mode Is Not Supported" (I assume it means booting in EROM, how do I get it to boot in ROM?).

I managed to get it to boot in ROM but it's still giving me errors! Think with the keypad being so flat it's difficult to do 2 & 5 simultaneously (pressed down pretty hard this time).
