SE is saving the best to MWC, so if the C903 and W395 are the worst then I'm quite happy!
Samsung and LG opted to reveal their flagship models early (LG forced to because Samsung did it), although I do think Samsung may announce it's new i8910 S60 5th Edition product - and that's going to be quite something.
It's quite amusing that the manufacturers are effectively leaking their own news early - because they all know that new product announcements will get lost on the opening day. On the tech sites, the product announced first quickly ends up down on page 15 within about 2 hours!!!
You'll notice that Samsung and LG didn't give the full specs of the Tocco Ultra Edition or the Arena - because they want the media attention between now and MWC, but also to have the official announcement on the 16th Feb and get MORE coverage with the 'final specs revealed' stories.

1. Xenons are expensive. That would increase both the width and the price of the phone. It's meant to be a mid-tier phone.

If only SE could spawn a new MXE60 to work with most a200 phones then the lack of xenon flash would not be that disappointing imo.

how then explain xenon in C901? it's also mid-end phone, xenon price is ~10$, hardware size can be real issue but does not C9xx Cyber-shot deserved for xenon? SE should give us new MXE-60

I strongly second that! A new flash accessory is a must which has been mysteriously lacking from the  portfolio.

I personally think it looks cheap and tacky, judging by the live pictures up a bit. SE phones are no longer exciting like the ones from Samsung and Nokia.
I actually cant be bothered to express how fed up I am of SE, falling market share? No wonder. Wheres the innovation. Latest technology? (8mp) Well where is on a C9xx series. And xenon flashes? The C903, C901 and C510 all look the same, I actually cant tell the difference between the C901 and C510. They are both copies of the K770. SE used to make really innovative and interesting phones. Now they're all the same and IMO boring. |
