I just think that the camdrivers you are trying to upload are not compatible with your firmware version. What's your firmware version?

Did you install the drivers? Or try 2+5.

Did you installed ggsetup file which is included with a2uploader? Keep the C button pressed untill your FS is opened. At first time, you might get virus alert but it is false one. There is no virus.

Before connecting your phone, reinsert the battery.

@NoelBonel: when you download the a2uploader tool you will have 2 files:

- a2uploader
- ggsetup-2.2.0.x

First of all you should install the ggsetup-2.2.0.x. Then you should run the a2uploader. The phone must be turned off during all this process.

What phone do you have?

Thanks a lot...camera driver version is now 8.0. Anyways I still need to get the hang of the manual settings, kinda complicated though. Is there really a noticeable change with this driver? So far the only thing I have noticed is with the red eye reduction with flash mode. The 3rd flash is much faster, no more noticeable interval unlike the 3.7 version.

Glad you made it. Where did you get that camdriver from?

I got it from the one posted by witchking. by the way, have you tried the modded drivers for display and sounds (acoustic)? Are they reliable? Have you tried it personally? Thanks.

Oh. Witchking has explained how to use the manual settings. Why don't you visit his first post of that thread?

And no, I haven't tried any modded display nor acoustic driver in my c510. But I did try them with my previous phones(C702, W810, K750).

I recently updated the firmware (unbranded) on my Sony Ericsson w980, but after the update i cannot get the camera to work at all, everytime i try to access it i get a white place holder with a camera picture in the middle then it closes itself.

I have tried to change to the modded camera driver but i still have the same issue.

Has anyone had the same issue who can help me fix the problem?

thanks
