Hi,

I recently bought a PSP and im looking for a good lil website to help me understand things about it - ie - video convertion to play on it, how i may be able to play homebrew games.... basically everything i need to know regarding a PSP..... I can goodle but im looking for something anyone has found useful

Ask help here, I'm a PSP freak. Been with it since May 05. What PSP version have you got? PSP-2000 or PSP1000?

Psp-1000=most hackable but really big and less ram
Psp-2000=still hackable but misses out on certain features that require 1.50 kernal or IRdA
Psp-3000=not hackable - sony copyrighted the encryption needed to put it in service mode, and now they are sueing datel for making psp-3000 pandora battery

the easiest way to tell between the psp-2000 & 3000 is that the psp-3000 has a PS button as found on the PS3 controllers where the home button on the 2000 is

OR read the big long number on the bottom of your psp (barcode strip ) which will say PSP-2003 (or mine does anyway)

Depends on your reigon, mines a psp-2002 (Which plays reigon 4 games) dunno why the actual psp and the games have different codes
