back in the bisness...now using my employers time usefully

RC6 works like a charm! I think that we are close to that point, where we can't make K850i camera quality any better.

@killerPK

You maked a huge effort and i give you a deep bow for that!
Thank you...

Thank you for trying the driver and appreciating my effort

@other K850 modders
While i was experimenting with these lines(changing them and placing them in different places) :

#SET_REG(6B,06) // SCANAF_MODE_1
#SET_REG(6C,01) // SCANAF_AF_ILLUMI
#SET_REG(6F,3C) // SCANAF_MAX_FRMRATE = 30 fps
#SET_REG(70,1E) // SCANAF_MIN_FRMRATE = 15 fps

I also changed Doc mode scene #COM_EVENT(51,08) to 51,00
At one point in time the AF-LED was working in Doc mode, but after a lot of changes it stopped working. I tried a lot of things but couldnt force it on again, but maybe you guys can try and get it working now that we know its possible through camdriver.

If flash doesnt work sometime in Flash mode = Auto then change flash mode to Red eye or Off and then change it back to Auto

I'm currently using camdriver JAC v4.6 final rc6. I think I found a bug!

I'm always using fine mode but sometimes it saves 5mp pics @ 1.3mb @ fine mode, then i shoot again the same scenario and it's now 2.5mb! This hasn't happened with other camdrivers. Is it only me having this problem?

Please solve this ASAP.

BTW, besides this problem, I can say that your camdriver is the best camdriver I've used!! Thank You for making this camdriver and sharing it with us!

Thanks for using my driver Does this bug happen often or very rarely? Usually the phone saves very dark pictures in lower size.

If anyone else can confirm this bug then i can try to fix it.

@killerpk

I am also facing the same problem with forced flash. I did what you told, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. It doesnt work as accurate as your previous drive 4.2.
Please anybody test the drive for forced flash and give your valueble feedback. So that i can confirm that my camera is working perfect.
Thank you.

It happens very rarely. actually it only happened the 1st day I installed your camdriver but now it works perfectly. And I observed that sport mode in your camdriver is slow in low light conditons but it's ok since I very rarely use this mode because there's too much noise in sport.

Add force-LED and i'll use it:D

The problem is that i cant find any line where AF LED is disabled for Doc mode, so enabling it is not possible for me unless i find the part where its disabled.

If we could use LED, we could finally make macro pictures with the k850i.
Even with a cleaned light sensor macro pictures are over-exposed..especially with whitish objects....

I think the reason of macro pic with flash on with k850 being overexposed is not only the xenon flash. Nokia N82 has xenon flash but it can take really good macro pics with flash on. I think K850 only needs more tweaking in camdriver or the firmware itself.

I havent had much problem with taking macro pics with flash on, if you use document mode they turn out fine, you can see the pictures i have uploaded in my folder.
Also I have seen n82 camera performance and it has problem of overexposing pictures sometimes.

I have been using RC6 for the last couple of days. The picture quality is superb. Close to real colors. But I have found a few bugs. It would be greater if u try to fix them. the bugs are:

1. When I start camera in auto scene mode and change it to some other scene and come back, forced flash does not work. Even switching to RER or Flash Off and and back does not correct this. camera has to be restarted.

2. When I select night landscape mode exposure is increased, but when switching back to auto mode, exposure is not corrected back to normal automatically.

3. When I decrease expsosure (eg, -3 or -7), it reflects in view finder, but when I half press shutter button, it goes back to 0 position exposure and photo is taken with 0% exposure.

4. Often, I get an error message that "another application is running..." and camera gets closed automatically.

Hope u will rectify these in the next release.

Thanks KillerPK, keep up the good work

I've never got the message "another application is running with JAC v4.6 rc6 It's working perfectly.
