For next version i need some feedback about Twilight Landscape mode, i am putting 2sec exposure time in it.
Do most of you use the current 1/2 sec exposure or should i just replace it? If you want to keep 1/2 sec time, where should i put 2 sec exposure (like at Twilight Landscape at EV2.0 or Solarize effect etc)?

Which of these 100% crops looks better? Both use a different sharpness value:

My opinion is that you should replace 1/2s exposure time with 2s and first photo is better...more detail and it don't look like it was taken with Nokia (aquarelle), like the second one

the second is better, the first is to oversharpen , most of the detail gets lost because the edges are crisped out , so i would say the 2nd one is the better of the twice , on the first one is even more luminance noise than on the other one because of too many sharpness

greetz from germany ^^

I would suggest ISO100(or below if possible) and 1 or 2sec. exposure time at twilight lanscape scene.

And about the 2 pics, the 1st one is better in my opinion.

Thanks for your feedback
The first picture uses sharpness 08 and second one uses sharpness FE, i think FF value would be fine because using more sharpness makes the picture look very pointed and pixelated at 100% zoom. Will post next version soon with 2sec exposure.

@killerpk

Yesterday i have tried your 4.60 drive. To my amazement, i found your drive is taking good pics. But few things that i want (may be others too) you to add few things.
1. You should increase the image size to 2.5 mb in fine mode. Nobody is using photoDJ or photofix option. Apart from this, i think max size pic gives better quality and more information of pic. So please came back to max size.
2. I dont know others have note this or not but your forced flash is not working properly. I have used your 4.0 drive with forced flash in past. In that drive, when i focused comp. Screen with red eye, the flash would not work. But when i re-focused comp. screen with auto, the flash would forced. But this is not case with your 4.60 drive. Even today i tried it in sunlight, it didnt forced to flash. Please do needful.
3. Your sports mode is giving more noise on screen compare to strong's 1.2 beta. It has almost no noise.

Please fix above given points in your next drive. I think you should not be hasty to release next version until you fix these problems from your last version drive.
I am sorry for pointing these problems to you, but i want the best out of you. I think you are capable of it.
Thank you.

I have sold my K850 so i cannot test my driver now, so i wouldnt want to make big changes in it.
1. Increasing picture size could effect its stability.
2. Flash is only forced in Auto mode, not in Red eye mode.
3. Sports mode is supposed to have very fast shutter speed without flash, because its meant to capture moving people. If noise is less in strong's driver, i can only assume that he is using slower shutter speed.

I'll increase the picture size for Fine mode in next version, but i cant test its stability.

New version 4.6 Final RC1 posted.

Changes:

- Increased picture size back to 2500KB on 5MP Fine mode

- Improved WB Color Correction for pictures without flash

- Increased JPEG Retry Limit

- More contrast in Landscape mode

- ISO 100 and 2 Second Exposure in Twilight Landscape Mode

- Reduced Sharpness (Pictures look better at 100% zoom)

If there are any problems then please tell me, i cannot test my driver now as i dont have K850.

Yes i know they cant be edited and i have mentioned that before but people still want to keep 2.5MB size so i reverted it back from 1.8MB. If someone wants to edit their pictures in the phone then they should use 5MP Normal mode for 1.4-1.7MB pictures

Thanks and Good luck with your camdriver (i think your making one?)
I still dont know how to get ISO 80

Restart the phone, this may be a little bug of firmware.
