Hi,

I'm considering getting a k770i, and I'd be just super-grateful if you guys could let me know if it did a few things. Can it:

Run a web browser and a Java app like (for example) MGMaps at the same time, and switch between them.

Have MGMaps connect to a bluetooth GPS device

Run an IM client in the background while carrying out normal phone functions

If it can't do these things, what's the cheapest alternative with a decent camera that can do these things? Thanks.

SE's are good at multi tasking. If for the webbrowser you are going to use opera mini then it will keep it open if you switch apps.

I don't think the k770i has Opera Mini, it's not a "smart" phone.

Opera Mini - for phones with Java implementation (J2ME)
Opera Mobile - for smartphones

Ooh excellent.

I tend to do things like this quite often currently on my phone that I want to replace:

Load up my email or a web-page to find out a postcode/address

Whip out MGMaps to search for it, and use it to navigate to where I want to go.

Make or receive a phone call while I'm doing the above.

So you're telling me the k770i will be able to handle that?

EXCELLENT.....
