Hi,
I've managed to beak the LCD and have purchased a new one but I am having trouble disassembling it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers.

@totalgsm - that's great site man. Interesting stuff there... Especially the C702 water tests.

Thanks. I've got those pics, I just needed some instructions to get me started as I don't want the force anything and break the case as well as the LCD.

if i was you, i should pay ~50 euro and let the workshop do it... then you still have your 2 years warranty left. (which is super good to have)

Well there are people who want to everything with the phone alone... Without any help of the workshop. In fact, the workshop people are the same as us. People that make misstakes so the risk of screwing the phone is the same actually. And the warranty, you won't lose it... No one will notice that the phone has been opened if you do it gently and correct...

I got it apart and got the old display out but it differs from my new LCD and all the LCDs I've seen on the net. It has a flexi pcb with the 8 surface mount LEDs around the edge. Does anyone know if this is a separate item?? Maybe I have to carefully un-peel it from the broken LCD??

Cheers.
