Ares, have you tried porting apps??? Perhaps we can try something, not let all the work on swmail.  Actually I would like to try the video player app.
Now, media center app from G900 and the standby app with panels are the most wanted items imo. Those 2 would make a perfect p1.  (or so called G1 - mixture of G900 and P1)

strizlow, swmail will surely do it if people contribute and ask him to do it...
also, dark_skeleton might do it...
thing is, it seems this requires messing with z drive, and for that we need ROM Patcher and/or DriveCbeforeC to be ported from s60 v3 to UIQ3...AFAIK that can happen this month

You mean the standby tabs app needs z drive changes or the video player... I think video player can be ported easier.

I have tried it once. G700 is some sort of "lite" version of G900. Pretty the same phone and has 3.2 mp camera instead of the G900's 5mp one. The interface of G700 is pretty much the same as on G900. It has the standby app with tabs like G900...
But imho I think the P1 is better than G700. It has autofocus on it's camera and qwerty keyboard which lack in the G700.
