Bought A New W910i Today |

Hi guys n gals.
After the hassle of waiting for a cheap w810i to jump on ebay so i could replace the screen, i went out 2day and picked up a new W910i.
It is nice, sleek and sexy.
Any probs i should look out for, or anything i should do before i start to use it?

None that i know of but i had one of these phones for 2 days and thought it was awful. Apart from nice screen it had awful audio poor very quiet call quality very light toy like feel and terribly tinny poor sounding back speaker. Good luck with it. |

First thing to do: Upgrade the firmware to R1FA via SEUS.
I thought it's a great phone

Nice way to make him feel good about his new purchase! 
The W910i is a great phone mate. Just get the latest software update to avoid the bugs. Opinions are very divided about some of the latest SE phones, so if you like it, then that's great. I had one for seven months and it was mostly great!

I had a W910 for almost a month before I finally sold it. But it may only be my problem when I couldn't hear it on noisy streets. Now I own a relatively loud C902 which I can hear even in the noisiest enviroment. But I wonder whether this will affect my already bad hearing in the long term. Well, you can't have the cake & eat it.
Pls enjoy your W910. The audio quality is definitely above average. The big display has wonderful contrast & brightness. Although the 2 megapixel camera is nothing to write home about, but it takes acceptable pictures in daylight! My W910 was not buggy at all. Maybe I bought it more than 8 months after it was launched & all issues have been ironed out. Sometimes I really miss my W910 for its beautiful display & high audio quality!! |

Its a lovely phone cansa, its got one of the best displays Ive used ,even under sunlight
My GF has been using it for quite some time now, stands up to a lot of rough use and the slider is good too

what colour do you have? i have the havana bronze one and it's look very beautiul... i've update it with latest firmware and so far i don't have any problem with it.. good luck...

Make sure you get the latest FW update from the service centre. I bought a set a month ago and it was still on R1CA035. It was a little buggy especially for memory heavy applications like media. Problem solved with latest FW R1CA039
Overall it is a very nice phone with good keypad, good screen, friendly UI and beautiful design.

I bought the Black on cos it just loox better 
I also bought the missus a pink w580i and she loves it.
SE Suite wont run on my comp for some reason, but ill try the SEUS app now.

Install latest java and flash player on your PC in order to run PC Suite and SEUS properly... Anyway, the W910, the black one is the best option imho... It looks the best in black.

I have the latest Java and Flash and Shockwave installed, yet it still says i have no flash......
And yeah, black is Made Of F*kin Win lol

Hav same problem with you. SEUS says that flash isn't installed. I already install it!
So I open Internet Explorer, then visit adobe.com and install it manually via ActiveX. And SEUS finally works!
But seems you has latest firmware, no need to update it yet.
I suggest you to visit sethpo.de and zedge.net for additional free content
