Bianlay...hhmm. what are you talking about ????
aweful flash by c902 ???
get the c905 instead, when its suffers of weak firmwares for the moment ???
first of all. c902 flash works good up to 1.5m....
second, c902 is a bit better then k800, so there is no need to argue about that........
and last c905 behaves not 100%, (picture & wifi problems with latest fw).. wait till SE have get everything straight, then BUY It.

I think the quality of the c905 pics are bad look at them fullsize
http://www.esato.com/phonepho[....]&make=sony+ericsson&model=c905
Thats full daylight on iso 64 and the post processing is so heavy it looks smeary and very undetailed to me.

Plank, I have owned a k550i, k770i, k790i, k800i, c902 and c905, I still have the c902, my c905 takes great shots, no problems with wifi or my pics, it really is the first SE phone that I have ever owned that was rock solid out of the box.
But back to the c902, it was a disappointment coming from the k800i, the flash is MUCH weaker (it is LED afterall), it is marginally better in daylight since it gets more detail but I also find it takes longer to focus and generally I don't get as well focused shots as I did with my k790i, but really the lack of a real flash is what really bugged the crap out of me.
I love SE phones, but the only 2 phones I have been happy picture wise are the k790/k800, and the c905, although honorable mention does go the k770i which would have been a fantastic phone if it had xenon. |

k790i lowlight with Xenon flash:
c902 lowlight with LED flash (since they all came out bad and I don't want you to think I posted the worst of the bunch, this is the best shot I have).

again, you speak whitout any fact............
Photo flash produce a lux value at 25 lux/s, (thats more then twice higher lux-value then ordinary LED flash)...and thats fact.
besides c902 is the first Cybershot who can use its flash during BestPic..(did you even know that ??? it dosent need to recharge itself like ordinary flashes).
my c902 produce this type of flash pictures......its obvious you cant use the flash.....
uploaded in 1024 x 768 and looks really good,

@plank
Can you please post pictures taken in low light by the c902 similar to that posted by bialynia with dark background and the subjects are wearing dark colors (not bright ones)? I would like to see if it works well in those conditions as opposed to the picture you posted above wherein the background is bright and will reflect and amplify the flash. TIA.. |

Just sample of pictures in real life scenario. Not pictures taken in ideal conditions with bright background and almost close up pictures. Pictures of people in dark lighting condition would be appreciated. I would just like to see how the c902 camera fares in that department.
My friend is thinking of upgrading to a new phone and I don't know if I will suggest the c902 or the c905. |

well. here is some more flash...
hungry Cat nice quality
edit...if you looking for flash pics taken in big views outdoor...forgett it. thats not even possible for c905/k850....cellphones flashes is for most (if you want good quality) indoor 0-3m, (or outdoor close up/portrait pics),

Thanks. but I'm looking for more of pictures not with ideal conditions like posted above. The background is still bright enough to magnify the flash. I hope I can see some pictures with the criteria I posted in my earlier posts and see how the c902 fares in that aspect.. |

@plank, Why are you belaboring this point? K800 and c905 have much better flash no matter how much you disparage my flash use capabilities. |

The C905 has the best flash on all camphones today. Look at the samples PhoneArena posted in their review. The so called "Photo Flash" on the C902 (it's still LED flash, no matter how much SE marketing try to fool people by giving it a new fancy name) is only good for scenes close enough to touch with your hand, like your cat photo.

Bialynia..........again, you talk about stuff i havnt said....if you READ what i write, im talking about LED vs Photo flash...i havnt said one thing that Photo flash should be better then Xenon....
---------------------------------------------------------
besides... i havnt said c905 have a bad flash...i just said for the moment K850 produce sharper & more vivid flash pictures then c905.
so back to topic..........
if you cant live whitout real Xenon flash...buy k800....... otherwise buy C902, it a bit better on everything.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
edit...Abu...whats the problem with this ?? quote: "cellphones flashes is for most (if you want good quality) indoor 0-3m, (or outdoor close up/portrait pics)".......its very correct !
(and if its 0-3m, 0-3.4m or 0-4m who cares, thats no the point)...the truth is that cellphone xenon flashes works bad outdoor on bigger scenes, (i have own 3st different cellphones with xenon, so i know for sure)

No flash works well for objects that are far away on any camera, but on regular outdoor scenes the c905's flash is great.
I have no idea what you're talking about Plank, my outdoor flash pics have been AMAZING thus far, I have been so pleasantly surprised, I simply couldn't take these same pics with the c902.
