Most people think you must charge batt forever on first charge.

This was the case years ago
notice how your phone comes with batt half charged now ?

batts are alot better now,

but still, a full charge first time round is advised

Oh yeah?!? Just bought those today - guess what the manual says right there on the FIRST page.

"First time use: Charge approx 8 hours"

But who reads manuals these days anyways...

As for the stereo sound quality, I am a bit disappointed right now and I don't like the stereo with my p1i, but will have to test it a bit further with the different ear buds and songs and on my notebook.

ok came this morning,

charged for 3 hours then green changed from red to green, finished

when i removed from charger they auto went to pairing mode,
so i held button down on cord to turn off.

then i put them back on charge, that lasted for 30 min

So i thought id quickly test -

Sound is amazing from SE G900 with Full sound Mod.
Bass is very deep and clear treble is clear and not to sharp
mid is very good(warm), not as good as £200-£300 earphones.

with my sony headphones BT50 if mp3 is below 192kbs they still sound very good(40mm drivers)
With these earphones you can notice the difference. But if like me you have high quality songs (256 - 320) then sound is great.

Have to say, they are amazing. would highly recommend

Was going to send back if they weren't very good but they are

put them back on charge now (want to make sure i have full capacity)

thats all gone now dude, you had to charge them at once for 8-10 hours for the first time...
I got about 4, 4.5 hours the other day - 3 hours continuous listening and a pause in between and then another 1 1.5 hours again continuous with my notebook

P.s. as for the amazing sound... My music is also 192 - 320 and I dont like the bass or the mids at all...

what you mean thats all gone now?

when the light goes green the charging stops -auto off

as for quality. What player are you using, what mods ?

Bluetooth always bottlenecks quality but for earphones they are excellent quality all round

Its all gone in the sense of - you should've let it charge for full 8 hours the first time as the manual suggests. Even if the light goes green it is still charging - like the battery of you cell phone - its 98% and the last 1-2% charges the longest.
You would probably not get the full capacity of the battery now.

I am using winamp on my notebook, what else should I be using...
And my Pulsars 590A sounded 10 times better, I even have the feeling that the crappy sony ericsson earbuds that came with the p1i sound a little better. And they sound like shit...
I dunno, I am not impressed at all.
The pulsars were the best sounding bluetooth headsets, but they're bulky. And I have tried about 5-6 Bluetooth headsets so far. Maybe should buy those again
I have also the feeling that the ds980 sounded better too, but I tried those 1 year ago so I can not be sure...

Will see if changing the player on the p1i to the w960 makes an effect on them. I am also using the full sound mod, which I guess made the sound a little louder, but in general not too crisp and overall worse.

P.s. I dont like the headset when paired in handsfree mode with the notebook either, Its awful. The handsfree isn't smooth on the p1i too - the sound chops when talking for too long.

There are a few different sound mods for our uiq3s
I think im using Sound Mod Full mixed final.
it makes speaker louder with more bass and bluetooth sound is improved and louder
try changing the eq in winamp
also i found the small earbuds are best not med or large

I have the Pulsar 590A with spare mic (I can sell to you PM)
They do have deeper bass because of the large drivers but they are headphones and not earphones.

Still think these sound very good with megabass on, for earphones
