Ok so first feedback.

Very nice packaging

They come with 3 types of earbuds. But be careful, because not only their size change, but also the sound quality. The biggest ones give a flat sound, same thing for the small ones. Hopefully the medium ones deliver a much better sound. I was really scared at first.

As for the volume it's really loud enough, some kind equivalent to the HBHDS970/80. Regarding the quality of the sound, it's less muffled than the DS980, so we lose bass, but we get clarity instead. Hopefully you can use the equaliser on the latest SE phones (A200 plateform).
But if you're gonna use it with a traditional BT mp3 player (for instance samsung Y-P2) it will sound flat.

The blinking of the status lights is really discreet so you won't look like Robocop in the street.
There is a second led undeer the "action" button (power on/off/ connexion, pairing indicator), which can be seen from both sides.

The bluetooth receiver is located in the right earplug (where you plug it to charge it), let's hope it's not dangerous for the brain but if you wear a bonnet or a hooded sweat the sound might cut sometimes.

The action button allows you pick up or hang up calls, it acts as the play/stop function when there is no call, and if you double click on it , it calls the last number you've used.

It's a bit early to judge the battery life, i will tell you after oe week of daily use.

The headphones are very light and pleasant to wear, so much that you may be scared to loose them

Just saw a few of these in stock today at the SE store in Kensington (London). They were 89.99 GBP IIRC.

Cheers,

87pounds?

that's rough...

there's a US website selling for $97USD.

They're still "preorder" status, but once they're in stock.. i'm all over it.

I bought some of these today from the Sony Ericsson flagship store in London.
Unfortunately I can only find one set of the rubber earbuds, the ones attached to the 'phones.
Can anyone else kindly confirm where the spare ones were in the package?
Has anyone else bought these and received no extra earbuds?

Thanks,

- Steve

Hi,

Just picked up a pair today too. Found the extra buds inside the back compartment with the manuals in a small plastic bag. There is also a small clip as well in there.

Cheers,
