Howdy... I have had my T68i now for 2-3 months and love it... Had no probs up until about 2 weeks ago when my dictionary was wiped of all the words i had inputed. For exampl if i had edited and inputed the word 'howdy', for that text if i had wanted to use that word it will be there but the minute i have sent the text and go to send a new one it isnt there. I cantacted ericsson and they told m to turn on candidates and stuff like that but i know my way atround the T9 and the dictionary is actually getting wiped at the end of every text. ANY help with this would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Are u aware that unlike Nokias system of taking out the least used words as you ad new ones, the t68 dictionary becomes full and although it will go through the motion of adding a new word & confirming it, it wont add any more unless you master reset (which i don`t advise) in other words check if words you added when you first bought the phone still come up as options. if they don`t then you have a defective phone, if they do then your dictionary is full & the phone is fine.

Could it be that you've already reached the memory limit of the T9 dictionary?

Which does actually seem unlikely since I would have thought that they would have reserved a far amount of space on there.

Do you also have a LOT of pics, tones, MMS messages, stored on your phone as well?

How much free memory do you on your phone?

Sirob_LeRoi:

This is a software related problem, that suddenly appeared in a later version af the T68i software.

I had the same problem too. An upgrade will fix it, I think. It did it for me anyway...
