If you use the MMS editor from sony ericsson you just press the transfer button. (I think MPM must be running)

Hmm.. tried the SE mms software, but my phone obviously wont accept .tpl files.... (I`ve installed package 4 of SE software, and I belive it includes all drivers n` stuff) |

You need R5 above firmware for your phone to be able to accept those MMS templates files
