Or friends maybe? Well if you are one of those peeps on here who hasn't sniffed another lifeform in 5 years, then I'm sure this is the camera for you.

I hate it when your taking a photo and cos the camera is slow you have to keep saying to people HOLD IT HOLD IT and then the picture is taken. Then after its taken you STILL have to say HOLD IT for few seconds longer whilst the camera finally catches up. Then you hear the people in the picture tutting. Lol

But the C905 doesn't take HORRIBLE pictures now does it? What a fanboy argument that is. The Samsung camera is slow, it's as simple as that.

The phones features are fantastic yes and they trump current SE phones by a mile. But don't sit in denial that the camera isn't affected by being slow. That's just complete rubbish. A friend at work has the U900, which has the slow camera and it drives him nuts. Can't use it to take pics of his baby
daughter at all cause it's so slow. It's only good for scenery.

The pictures we've seen of flowers and buildings are wonderful yes, but take it to a party and see how many decent snaps you get.

That makes no sense at all. Please try again.

You're right, the INNOV8 sucks! 4 seconds to focus and 4 seconds to save a pic is too long because the C905 does all of that in a milli-second.

I want a high-end phone and don't mind paying an extra $100-150 for it over the C905. I'm sure most people looking for a high-end phone won't either.

The INNOV8 is a top of the line loaded with the latest tech phone like the N96 and such. The C905 is, well, just a fat revamped java based K850 with 8mps. Nothing to brag or shout about.

At least Samsung has stepped up and made a kickass device even if it takes BRILLIANT slow pics. SE is still stuck in the past. Sad truth.

Well you can say that because you are comparing A200(non-os as maybe here refer) with a Symbian(open OS). but once you try to look very carefully and compare it with any "non-OS" phones around then you'll realized that your phrases sound ridiculous

try looking at any "non-OS" phones with the same features or better than what C905 offers. that's the time we can all say that it eats the market for other counterparts. besides you forgot that besides symbian and all it's "core features and advantages" C905 has almost the same offering as what innov8 has

Yes, but symbian is 10000...000x better than A200.. And C905 is still a lame phone!! When was the last time SE got #1 in pictures? 3 years ago... When K850i came out, i knew it was RUBBISH, TRASH, still the SE fasn said it will be fixed, etc. Look at it, 4th place in GSMarena review. ALL SONY ERICSSON PICTURES ARE WASHED OUT! + now that i changed my K810i to a G900, i have horrible washed out pictures. AND i will never go back to a phone with no qwerty keyboard. If the C905 would be an UIQ, then maybe. Same lame 200mhz processor lol and NO graphic accelerator. It's not even a multimedia phone. It's so slow! Just play a 700kbps video on it, i'm sure it can't handle it (G900 can, and it's so clear). The C905 is made for pictures ONLY; and nothing else. I admit it takes decent pictures, but thats it. The least they could do is add touchscreen.. I don't like the post processing of new SE phones, look at pictures with flash, they are like oil paintings. When they fix that, then maybe i will change my mind.
So, the conclusion, It takes good pictures aaaaaand thats it. Good phone for SE fans, fair for those who have eyes and admit that SE is NOT king pin, and tasted other manufacturers too.

Okay. I take it from this change of subject you realise now that maybe the camera is a little slow. I forgive you my child.

Wel my k800i takes about 7 seconds from starting focus til saving pics.to be more accurate i took 5 pictures and the average was 6.85 seconds.its not much of a difference right???.and with k800i i can take pictures of children and pets(cats). although the later is more difficult.and i can take pics of friends without sending them off to sleep . and i wudnt mind my self standin there for 8 seconds.(but that would b only for one pic,if u get a gud pic, fine,if not, bad luck, got other things to do mate):-).

So sorry. I shall flog myself with spikes till dead for not understanding with mine feeble brain.
By the way, I just timed mine and it takes a pic and saves in just over 4 secs. Your phone is dog slow.

But lets not all start timing our phone cameras cause that'll be really sad. I'm sure we can all agree though that an 8 sec procedure is a little on the slow side, for what is supposed to be the high end of the market.
