w910 vs w760 |

I'm torn between w910 and w760. I love the design of w910 more than w760. But w760 sports the upgraded A200 platform. Question, do you think in the future, w910 can also support the new features of w760 mainly the lovely icons and the different ways to display it (rotating, single large icons)? Of course this is under the assumption that it can be done thru hacking |

i do think the same way too, A200 is already good, but an upgraded version? provided it comes with not bug will be a tremendous upgrade! 
i formerly owned a w910, a great piece of device, but mind you, it's 2mp camera only works well outdoor, don't expect to take pictures indoor with decent image  unlike W890 which performs much better in terms of image taking compared to w910

In comparison of these 2 phones, you will get the right one if you know what do you want from a phone...
In my opinion the W910 is better, but when we are at walkman phones, the W890 should perform much better than the W910...

why do you think w890 is better than w910? w910 has bigger screen display.
If onlyh w910 came out with the upgraded A200 platform, I would definitely go with that.

W910 with updated platform will not be out . A new firmware for it will be out so there will be some bug fixes. We only need to wait now (but no one knows how long...) .

Yeah, they're talking about the upgraded A200 platform that W760i has.
Eg:
W910i = A200 platform
W760i = upgraded A200 platform with new menu options, etc.

lol, nothing has been upgraded. It's still A2. Just small software updates, that'll eventually end up in most phones.

Ok to be clear. A200 platform is slightly upgraded in W760... Which makes the W910 a step behind, still using the older A200 platform version. Personally I don't think that the platform will be upgraded with firmware update... Only bugs will fixed with FW updates on the W910... The same opinion goes for all other "older A200" phones

the w760i has java sw version jp-8.3
w910 has jp-8 afaik.
the little upgrades (new menu layouts etc) have obviously been added to 8.3
mizzle has stated other a200 phones like k850, w910 etc should get these little additions eventually via new firmwares

i should say w760, BUT......... i have tried w760 and it feelt very plastic, when i tried w910 i didnt got that feeling.
tuff choice, w760 take better pics and have GPS, but w910 have much better design, etc, (mainly because its a high end phone).
ps..today i walk by a 3-store who sold out all T650i they had (gold, blue, green) for 695kr.. (70 euro)...its just mad
