According to a news source from Taiwan newspaper, the delay of SE P800 is not about logistic, is not about the bugs of chinese version and is not about the network compatability (as Chinese version of P800 is already available in Macau). But is purely because of marketing decision....finally SE is thinking about marketing....to wait and release the same time with the James Bond film in Taiwan which is end of January. The first order is a limited edition (700 P800s) with 007 theme and packaging.
And this reason seems to fit the reason why the release date of P800 is delayed to end of January in Hong Kong. Hong Kong, according to the Reuters, is one of those chosen countries/region that can have P800 in the first....and seems to me that HK is the only region that still have P800 in the "coming soon" list in the site. Note that Die another day release in Hong Kong on 30th Jan. What a shame!
