hi guys

has this ever happened to anyone? when i take a pic, it saves rather quickly..in 3-4secs but sometimes it remains on the "Saving" for over 20+ seconds.. anyone know why it does that??

and sometimes my phone stops reading the memory card, so i have to take it out and put the mem. card back in...anyone have this problem??

i still love this phone overall, but these minor problems are quite annoying...i guess i was spoiled with my k810 which was very solid as a phone and camera.

My PC Suite is telling me there is new software available for mine. I'm on R1EA033 right now.

I'm wondering if it contains the addition of latitude on the google maps like the recent W995 update. Can anyone confirm this, thanks.

If its R1FA035 it will have the new google feature installed. I have google lattitude installed when I updated my C905 a few days ago.

No probs :-) Some people have reported they also got bbc iplayer and facebook apps from the update but some of us haven't. One thing i've noticed is that I can't turn on the usb charging in the service menu and also the slider count doesn't work. My battery life seems poor as well. Finding myself charging the phone every night as the battery level decreases quickly throughout the day leaving only 1/4 power left near the end of the day and thats on low to medium use.

I see. I'd be glad of the FB app but now wondering at what cost.

Finally SE serve up a feature-phone with everything to compete with the N95! What a cool phone - I'm impressed with those features and also the styling. This makes me think twice about wanting a W980 I'll wait to see what the price drops to after a few months, I guess.

The price came down all right and I bought a pink one just recently for my girlfriend. This phone is waaaaaaayyyy better than the G705 that i had in September last year.

Hey guys, long time no see..

I have the great C905 I'm happy with it, but i want to get rid of "podcast" folders and "sony ericsson" links in menu and file manager. How can i do that? i deleted those "HOOK" files and folders from FS, and tried to apply that "remove podcast folders" VKP patch. None of those 2 methods does anything. Podcast are there, links are there. I can't even apply an ordinary patch for C905.

Here is the log from A2Uploader Full when i try to apply a patch:

PHONE STATE: "RETAIL"
FLASH CID: 0052
OTP LOCKED:1 CID:52 PAF:1 IMEI:xxxxxxxxxxxxxx CERT:RED
LDR:2008-07-23 11:49 1202-0421_DB3210_CS_LOADER_ACC_SDRAM_R2A065

LDR:2008-05-23 11:52 1202-0422_DB3210_EXPLORER_LOADER_APP_SDRAM_R2A059
LDR CAPS:SYSTEM FLASH GDFS FILESYSTEM TA
Elapsed:23 secs.

Anyone knows how to resolve my problem? I'll be very thankful... Thanks in advance..
