How is the stanby time for other P800 owners, mine is only 1 and half days. And I use it some time.
I mean it's damn long away from 400h, even not near around 150h,..

The best way to save battery is shut down backlight, then the phone is to boring...

Any good tip how to save more battery time..?

Ok... Hands up. Who have let their phones be standby from a full charge till it runs out of battery?

None? Didn't think so.

I mean. I play with it all the time. Well at least I did the first week or so. And I still fiddle with it a lot. That means several things. Mainly that the screen will come on.

Also I have BT on all the time. That don't exactly help.

So the point is standby time isn't when you use it. It's when it's not in use in ANY way except that it's on. And the calculated time is most likely with BT off.

Sure. But when you are using the phone it's not standby time. Now is it? So don't expect it to last 400 hours when you use it.

Ok. I can see this might quickly become a really long discussion. But here is what SE says:

Performance talk time
* up to 13 hrs
Standby talk time
* up to 400 hrs

Ok... So that means you can have a 13 hour call on a full charge in ideal conditions. That translates into most likely a bit less PDA time... Since you are likely to use it more intensivly when doing PDA stuff on it.

Point is: Don't complain about something that you knew before you bourght the device.

yeah, 13h.. maybe in dreamland...
my phone drops from 100% to 70% in a 2hours...
I just had it on standby from 2pm till 9pm.. used the phone for a maximum of 20mins.. and I'm at 50%..

I guess our only choice is to buy a second battery.. I hope it's not too expensive.. didnt we spend enuff?
T68 had the best battery.. BT on, it wld last me a good 2 1/2 days...

this phone eats up more batteries than nokias..
