after change EV i change value of some functions but EV reset why don't save EV value?
if EV correction will stay user have to set EV again to 0.0/other EV everytime when he will use manual function. I tested this idea by a few days, in last day my irritation was exactly the same like in first day - never again. current idea works great for me - it isn't disturbing and it disappear when unwanted. people remember EV correction at joy left/right, partial return to this concept seems to be the right choice
and with my patch can change very fast EV value and i don't think needed to use v6.6.5
you mean go to function +0.3 and set EV correction? it's not fast, try this method in cloudy weather and snowy area where your pictures suffer because of underexposure and you have to correct EV before each shot... in a thick glove. word 'insane' is good word to describe feelings. compare it with EV correction with joy left/right method. I guarantee much lower irritation with old method
I have to think about all users, also those who use driver without patch. this is the only reason why driver must appoint the functionality without looking at the patch. moreover, everything in your patch is great, except of the keys. don't get me wrong, maybe you like these settings but we are accustomed to the old settings which are good. I don't understand why I can't change functions with joy left/right although I did so for 2 years. now I have to use joy up/down while joy left/right is reserved for values. good question, why? was something wrong with 3/6 keys? I used 3/6 most of the time and now they toggle photo/video mode  almost everything has changed and I have problems using my own driver, wow! 
I will not insist to make changes but for now with current keys it's very hard to use driver with your patch. I don't understand why you changed the keys. you could leave the old settings:
- joy left/right = position of function and EV index change in small left-center window
- zoom +/- keys and 3/6 = step +/-
- joy up/down = toggle photo/video mode
and add new settings:
- 2/5 = auto step +/-
and your patch would be extremely "must have" stuff for every user of this driver. sorry but it's not for me. too bad for me because patch (excluding keys) is simply great. I'm like an old tree and the old tree cannot be replanted

My patch is full options and any users can edit it easily
so u can disable change keys with set ";" befor these lines:

2 years with old settings, now I have to learn new settings without any reason? oh come on! I can change key settings in patch but still no left-central window for EV value, so it's hard to use EV correction at joy left/right. it's not for me

I didn't thought never u don't use my patch.
this is very interesting for me.u work 2 years with old OSD without show currect function but now changing EV in v6.6.5 with my patch (don't show old EV in left-center) is hard for u. 
so i change my patch in next version:
after start camera if change EV then show new OSD (functions/step/value) in top and old EV in left-center altogether on screen.
Do u agree this change?

mate, I really want to use it but not with these settings for the keys. your patch has things which are really nice and it would be stupid to ignore it
is there any good reason except of fact that you like these new settings for the keys? maybe you could change keys settings to old and include them in public release and use new settings in your own version? ok, nevermind, it's your patch and you can do whatever you want but consider my request, please

good, so we have 50% agreement change the keys for public release, keep new keys in your own version and we will hit 100% haha

I don't remove change keys in next version because any users can disable it with set ";" before lines
and some users like changing keys
