Sorry but I don't buy that at all. I've seen much better pics elsewhere.

Well, guys, there has been a new firmware release for the C902. Maybe these pics were shot with the old one.

New firmware doesn't guarantee the better camera.
We all experienced that one previously in K850.
The pics from C902 reminds me of K850 : there's still a red-pink conversion and wash out.
Sad but true.

Nokia learns much. SE seems not!

Sony please withdraw Cyber-hot sub-brand from SE! Walkman is much more than enough for SE, lol
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing.

Apparently you should disable Face detection when not taking a photo of a face! Possibly affecting the sharpness of the pics? Obviously not the colours tho...

emm.

what about this:
http://www.flickr.com/search/?s=rec&w=all&q=c902&m=text
photos are unfortunatly 800x600 but the color reproduction is way better than the comparison shots with the 6220

i don't get it... is the comparison is a HEAVILY baised one.... or was their C902 an Early early faulty prototype.... or....

The words "style over substance" come to mind.

SE really need to step-up, I love my W890i but this would make me buy a Nokia.

Phone-wise, I dunno what's disappointed me more recently: the rumoured P5 apparently having the same ol' 208MHz CPU, or seeing how crap these C902 pics are...

Guys! That's what I've been telling you about! See the above pictures and you'll notice that the colours are nigh-perfect with the new firmware.

Without any comparison, you can not judge those pics.

you're right.... i'am just comparing the color reproduction.... C902 is still far away from being a Cyber-shot High ender.

These pics were obviously taken with a pre-release firmware and are bound to be poor. New firmware will inevitably improve the camera quality, as it always does with SE phones - there's no debating that.

The bitching in this thread is meaningless - if you recall, the quality of the photos in the K800i pre-release firmware was equally bad. We just need to be patient for a few months' for SE to perfect their camera drivers.

The only real topic worthy of discussion is why SE can't get their software right before launching new handsets, rather than their current model of releasing shabby firmware and effectively using their customer to beta-test the bugs out of it.

Yeah, and by then the 6220's successor will be out... LOL.
