cheers, done a cda change / de-brand with davinci before with another phone so Ill give it a bash with this one in a few days, got the tutorial thats on this forum too so might go for the free one instead, re-flash to the worldwide cda then firmware update to get the latest one. Is this one quite easy to perform? looks slightly more complicated than davincis one...

I changed my CDA to World Generic as well, can't remember if it was with Davinci, did it almost one year ago... The firmware update itself will be no problem. Good luck! |

Hi folks, any idea if you can get a better batter battery for the g900? ie: a 1500mAh one? I see that you can get them from the likes of ebay etc but none look official ones, not too keen on putting a non-official battery in my phone!
The one that comes in the phone is a 950mAh one...

Just to say, done the change of CDA to generic worldwide, all went well (using Davinci) wasnt too bothered about paying for it as used them before and like the fact its pretty simple!
All good and I can enjoy my phone with the optimal firmware!

Hi, is there anybody can get mobileftpd to work on g900? i tried it and end with "not found" error. Or any recommended ftp/smb server for g900? thx |

hi guys, some info required.
my speaker on my g900 is going fuzzy/crackly (obviously from having my music too loud).
is this something you can fix yourself (buy a new speaker?)
or take it to a shop?

Hi guys, anyone have the problem with scheduled downloads of email where it fails and says because it's "Locked" or because another download was in progress even when it's not? Happens with my Gmail IMAP account.
I find I have to end the Messaging task in order for it to download properly on schedule!
Slightly annoying. |

just recently, my phone has started freezing when opening messages i tried deleting all my messages but it keeps happening?

I have problem with my g900 and the WLAN. I activate the WLAN but it does'nt find any hotspot even 10cm from one. Also the MAC is 00-00-00-00-00-00-00 (Is it normal ?).I cant undrestand if it is hard or soft problem.
Any suggestion ?????? |
