Sean the battery lifes quite good,
ive only just turned the handset on since 8pm tonight tho,
had a bad headache today and I thought i'd leave it off lol
I still haven't found what the new update has done to it lol
Marc, mobile yahoo like you get when you use the email links on Vodafones home page, when I enter my login details it dosn't login it just brings up username and password all over again,
ive had this issue before with other phones btw!
Thermaques, the handsets not old till it has been discontinued
I don't need 8GB Memory so why would I even need 16GB of a Jazzed up N81? I haven't done a review, I read Dogmanns months ago when he had it, but ive forgotten some of th things which was mention on behalf of the handset!
wheres the review of yours? please add it here or PM me it
btw this topic can be locked if nessesary ive got the phone and I know how to use it btw so Masseur if you wish lock and remove it..
before someone sends this to Nokia lol

You probably misunderstood me I am just saying its funny thats all, with regards to how I wrote about the review no I didn't and never do reviews on phones, il throw in one or two things thats about it. And finally in respect to it being old I guess to early adopters it is, but in respect to the N96 being a N81 well 16Gb plus digital tv are hardly the same.
But otherwise yes its an amazing phone I still use mine like crazy in the UK and its serves me well and I am sure you will be pleased with it.

Hi Miss UK
Sorry i never use any of those type of links as find them to be rubbish i always set things up myself as they tend to work faster and better IMO. That's why i couldn't wait to debrand my N95 8GB when i got it to get rid of all the Voda holding my hand and guiding me stuff as just hate it. Virtually any of the things it offers can be set up easily and works better if done your self IMO.

to me it's a jazzed up N80IE,
but has better Camera and more memory etc.
I loved my N80 to bits but this has replaced it,
what I mean't was the complet look of the N81 and n96 they look similar,
some people may want 16GB and Tv features but to me I just need a phone, im happy it works with online radio thats all i want tbh
the extra memory will come in handy for photo's of my baby niece
i'll have a photo album of pics with it already got 22 pics lol
seems like your fed-up of it already to me it's a phone lol
Marc, I added Yahoo Go cos I had enuff of trying to get Yahoo mail to open my accounts, Go works a treat anyway I just hope it wont expire cos it did on my E65
Vodafone works well on this handset I was suprised that the settings were there when I stuck the sim card in lol
Voda live loads pretty quickley due to 3.5G
the screen is really good for the internet and stuff
I need to find some themes and I need a decent Message tone,
currentley got one of them old boring nokia ones on it lol so retro
ive been trying to get GPS to work but seems theres no Satelites about

Hello Kerry. Im up again as i work funny hours. Anyway when you had the N80 what was the screen like cos i never got to play with one of them and i noticed the screen resolution was sharper with more pixels. Though i did hear battery was bad. As for message tones i always download comedy sounds like wav from the net. I got Father Ted clips. My message alert is GO ON GO ON GO ON. Got some funny looks on the bus today. Lol.

Sean, N80 is a really good phone it's very LOUD and has some top end Sound speakers me thinks, it's just like a N95 but has a 3MP Camera and No GPS Built in tho im told you can install it anyway and buy a GPS Reciever, My E65 has GPS software on it but it hasn't got the reciever built in! the battery isn't too bad it charges up within 1-5hrs anyway.
Wi-Fi is brilliant and it handles lot of applications really well,
if you ever get to try one im sure your gonna love it!
the N95-2 looks abit like the N80 I think,
both are very good phones anyway, Theres not much to download of the Nokia wapsite yet for the N95-2 I would've thought there be more themes but theres not, and I really need a decent message tone the N80 has a Cab one (A Woman whistling for a taxi) it was available for my E65 to but I don't know if it will be available for my N95-2
Thermaques, I think it will take ages to fill my 8GB memory up.
ive just bought a Sandisk Sansa and thats my main MP3 player lol
if I was to start bunging music onto myphone and listening to that im sure i'll be a victim of daylight robbery esp if I go to Brum alot lol
I don't know what to say that your wanting rid of your phone by August anyway

No my N95 8GB I've never had an N80, not sure if you can save them from the browser but i use an app called em Tube as the E90 doesn't have Flash Lite 3.0 yet and that app allows you to search the whole You Tube site and save the downloaded video. It also makes use of the accelerometer and auto rotates from Portrait to Landscape and back really is a great free app and doesn't need signing either.

I understand why you got rid of it marc,
you just prefered the E series (E90)
what I don't get is how anyone would get bored of this phone,
it does everything a phone should do and has extras
i'll run a search for that program btw
funny how youtube lets me conect via Wi-Fi no probs but my E65 would always connect to Vodafone live and there wasn't a option for other connections
Vodafone must do some tampering about to there phones!
anyways goodluck if you lot are up tonight I know Masseur will be
