great, they never told me that video will be out of sync with the music by 5 bloody seconds...i tried all software and all conversion options trust me...this is absolute horse-sht im taking it back right away...i hope sony feel happy they made a lot of money selling this junk that doesnt work properly

add: I am now awaiting the final decision from small claims court, trying to get all my money back

this phone has made my life a living nightmare and I will not let the crooks at Sony and Orange get away with this...

I'd recommend you to have a look at the W910 firmware thread and notice that this is a bug with a few codecs and not happening on all videos. This is as said, a bug that will be fixed in probably the upcoming firmware to be released in a week's time.

well video is kind of a big deal, why release something when it doesnt even work? its not that hard to get a video player to run, all my friends old phones run the video in sync and much smoother, these are like phones from last year

try to lower the video and audio bitrate.

video = 320kbps
audio = 80
framerate = 25-30fps
you can always find one if you know where to look

Yes, I have been playing lots of MP4-videos on my K850 and W910. It's all about encoding, and it appears you're doing something terribly wrong.

I seriously suggest u think about selling the w910,It has many problems.And is seriously overpriced product.Why should u wait for firmware for so long.the same problem even exist in k850.Consider buying N95 8gb which can play movies of vga resolutions at 30 fps effortlessly.It has got brilliant 2.8inch 16mln screen.And it has also got real player,divx players and unlimted options for playing various videos with ease.

Have you tried turning off the auto-rotate feature? That may help.

@korbindallis

He never said he wanted,phone with same price.By the way N95 8gb (900)(which comes with 8gb memory)is one and half times price of w910(600) .Considering the price of 8gb cards being 200$.Theres hardly $100 difference between w910 and n95 8gb.N95,N82 and n81 are lesser price but considering the features N95 8gb has i suggested that.And as for watching movies a bigger and higher colors screen would be better,

the problem as he says is that the audio isnt synced
so it seems kimot01 is on the right track
96kbps or lower (like 80-kimot01 has suggested)is fine
video bit rate to me is to high as suggested id prefer if he tries
my thread k850/w910 encoding - from my first response/the first link
and he does seem to be doing something wrong either hes selceted mp3 as audio o hes set it to 128kbps..

SE does it again. releasing a semi-"defective" product (like the p990) and then promising a fix that never comes.

well, maybe it will be different this time. i do hope they fix this one with firmware updates...
