New phone, k850 or k810 ? |

I agree with Andrew. I just bought my blue k810i yesterday. It's beautiful and and he said, mature. I can't be buying a new phone every couple of months, so it is better for me to wait until it's no longer the "flagship", the price is more reasonable and the most of the bugs have been worked out.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a k850i or an N92 but this was my best option. Especially for the price. $278 US. |

Apart from all the things that those who suggest k810 say, with whom I totally agree, I would say you better check the posts about k850 to form your own opinion. I'll just add that I consider as a bad move by SE the glass cover of the lens, which is supposed to protect them, but instead you just have to be cautious all the time not to scratch or break it (so you want be able to take photos until you replace it=$), and of the dust getting under it. In k810 the lens cover does the job it is supposed to do: protect the lens, and if it's hit, scratched or even broken you can still take photos. Personally, I also like more the joystick of k810 than the 4-way buttons. I find it more practical.
Definetely I suggest k810! I just hope the next k series phone doesn't have such problems like the 850. |

My K800i died on me at the airport a few montsh ago. I was travelling with a friend who had just upgraded their phone to the K850i and he was kind enough to lend me his new phone as he was happy to continue using his old phone.
After using the K850i for several months, I still don't like it. Like the features but the keypad, touch screen, camera and a few other niggles made me not want to get one myself. I even contemplated switching to Nokia and getting the N82 (which I probably would've if it was available in black). Instead I bought the K810i and I'm happy with it. I would've stuck with the K800i for a little while longer had it not broke.
Next month we should see the replacement of the K850i announced so finger's crossed it will actually be a flagship model this time.
So my advice (for now anyway) would be to go for the K810i. |

i look for a good cam & music player in a phone aswell and i use a k800i, you should get the k810i while the k850i media player is better, the k810i has a alot better camera, the extra megapixels in the k850i just make the pictures noisy and grainy due to a small sensor. |

Go for the k850, because:
It has a better camera
A lot better musicplayer
HSDPA
A nice 2.2" screen compared to k810's 2.0"

just to be precise, those results are made in labs, in perfect rec conditions and never reflect the real results in "live". same to the battery standy time, the given results in the user manual etc shows the results when u dont even touch the fone and u have perfect rec conditions.

i have both
ivory k810 and blue k850
What ive found is that the buttons on the k810 are better, its metal!!
also the k810i isnt as fragile as the k850, and its faster!!
true the k850 has a better camera, and that tilt sensor thing, and the new MEDIA menu (its soooooooo slow!!)
but the best bit of the k810 is that its faster! you can text faster etc, cos the k850 has the soft buttons, which slow you down!
Had: two ericsson's, two startac's, samsung a100, panasonic, nokia 7600, nokia 8100, sony s700, w800i, k750i, k810i, now k850i |

I had the K800 and now the K850...the difference is like black and white!
The K850 is amazing and you will fastly forget the K810,don't think twice and go for this masterpiece PLUS there is a great FW coming those few days that would make it faster and better in video recording...

If a good camera is good for its image quality, then K810i has a better camera.
same sensor size + more megapixels = worse image quality
