Just finished the animated auto-rotate.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPC0sLgMeX8
Available for download with further info here.

Flash experts, please view the sorce file and, if you have time, try to develop a script that would automatically load external images to the animation. I just can't make it work so I made it use imported images. Thanks

Heh, nice one LCARS, the auto-rotate is super smooth!

Had a bit of a thought with regards to loading external images....
If you download the original k850i themes (there's a .rar somewhere with menu.ml and all).. then extract, and decompile the .swf files... you'll see they dynamically load menu labels and pictures from the flash file (think 'Cybershot')

That might be your best bet for finding out how its done on the fone right now.

Then there's always moby explorer I guess, it should show you that the fone's FS is labeled /c:/ while the memcard is /d:/ could be a start.. could be totally irrelevant >.<

Anyway, just wanted to post a couple of silly things...

First, some more bouncy stars... shake the fone to move them off in different directions, etc etc.. kinda pretty, fun to play with

fla source: http://www.wopstick.com/junk/startrail4.fla

And finally, a silly little super mario background.. displays one of 5 mario backgrounds, with clouds.. and err, mario walks/clies/floats accross the screen etc, lol... very rushed, but cute

Awww, look at the little koopa!

(posted this by mistake in the other thread as well)

Based on the codes provided in this thread, the first "Shake It Theme". This one is a modified version of my Karima Adebibe theme.

Shake the phone to change the wallpaper. (Really Cool). Thanks to LCARS for the source files for editing.

Download Theme: www.rapidshare.com/files/80532326/karimaadebibe.zip.html

For k850i, w910i and w580i Phones Only.

heh, that's pretty cool gseth ^^

But do you find your battery running out hellishly fast when you've got flash themes running?

@ LCARS-Expert

I have noticed that on one of the flash files where you have added that command to keep the backlight on, when you close it the backlight setting stays on and keeps the phone from going into standby.

Suffice to say it flattens the battery in no time. Is there something you can do about it?

If you want to fix that problem it would be quite easy to dowload the relavent fla off LCARS' links page here and just remove that line of code out of the action script so the backlight is not extended (although this may cause the backlight to turn off while using the swf on the phone)

EDIT: Or simply say which one of the files it is and I would happily remove that line of code for you if you do not have flash
(as long as LCARS doesn't mind us editing his code?)

I wish I could make it keep the light on that way! You can remove that command yourself if you have Adobe Flash CS3. I posted the source files to allow you modify them and/or use them to make some more interesting stuff for K850i.

Yeah, I figured that would be the way to do it but I was hoping there might have been some type of On_Close event where you could disable it. I'm a .NET developer so I know very little about ActionScript!

Thanks guys.

By pressing Left/Right on the D-Pad. Didn't you try that? You should have your web browser set to fullscreen otherwise the flash animation might not detect the button press.
