Hello!

Just curious if you were able to resolve that problem on outgoing mail with Infocom. I also have the same problem and likewise my ISP is PLDT-Infocom. I'm trying to configure it with an R520

Thanks at lot..

Thanks a lot mga pare ko and finally my email works with my now T39 after changing the smtp to globenet (wla na my R520, miss ko din yun most specially keying in a new letter on the same key wherein i can punch the > and move on to the next letter of the same key.

Nope so far hindi naman mag hang or freeze my 39 while browsing or receiving data. ewan ko din ha coz not that heavy user or browser naman.

btw meron na bang time for the eb? sayang kc its my wife's bday on the 27th.

And lastly any of u gurus can help me setup dialup via t39 on gprs with a jornada520?

How about reading the thread first? Tapos just ask specific questions if ever you still have problems.

-software needed
for the winXP OS the T39 is just a plug and play device.

am not sure about the T68, but you can download the the driver from sonyericsson.

-configure phone
except for activating IR (or possibly BT) for connectivity. assuming that GPRS is already properly configured in your phone (ie you can post from the phone)

Is it possible to browse the internet using laptop IR + t68 gprs, Im able to connect using laptop + t68 modem dial-up. Its kinda expensive coz every minute counts, Ive been searching for topics regarding laptop + t68 gprs combination, but cant seem to get a clearer explanation.

Im using globe and gprs is activated and i use it over wap, it will be better if i can use it to surf the web. If its possible then what the right setup to use gprs. I have already installed a ir modem using virtual com port 2. Thanks....

I have a t39m, DRS11 and a Dell Laptop. I'd like to set up my laptop to dialup my ISP using a GPRS Connection. Is there somewhere that reference setting up my GPRS settings. I have GPRS data on my SIM, however the phone is not supported by the operator.
I know the APN and I have an IP address. Can anyone tell me how to enter the settings.

if you already have GPRS connection, then you can already connect to the net. why would you still want to connect to your ISP?

Install the modem driver for your phone (in case it is not recognized by your sytem yet), make a dial-up connection, and use the *99***1# for globe(or *99***2# smart)

the last digit before the # sign is your CID, change to appropriate number when necessary.

sir GoWin, I'm now able to connect to the internet using Smart GPRS and my PC. This means that my internet usage is free right now since Smart is still not charging for GPRS, right? I use the configuration you posted here w/ *99***2# as the dial-up no. to Smart.

Tnx.
