OK all you W890i users.

Help with a decision please W8901 or C702 ???

I am leaning towards W890i even though C702 has more to offer.

Hi, i have just purchased the w890i on o2 - great phone. I just wanted to know whether the camera shutter sound can be switched off as there is no option for it and i've tried it in silent etc. Thanks.

can anyone tell me what resolution the phone records video at.

I have seen a few websites saying QVGA @ 30FPS
some saying QVGA @ 15FPS
and some saying 176x144 (FPS not given)

interested in getting this phone but want to know about the video recording function (i know its not going to be that good but want to know what the specs are)

cheers

Louder the ringtone volume and fix sms sounds can be fixed with patching on older phones, but not this one too... You have to wait until patching is released for DB3150 platform, and it will take time...

The vibration cannot be changed...

Well of course there would be updating if a DB3150 patching is released, but that would take longer time as even flashing is not supported yet. Not DB3150 operations also. If such thing is released you should read info all around the internet, not just this forum. There are plenty of users waiting for that. Many people want their phones patched.
