@dogmann,

Wow, the 1st picture that you took with your dog in it is really nice.
The 2nd picture though, is a bit pale.

Hi all,

As i have explained photography is not my thing at all i literally just point and shoot no tweaking at all, actually i may not even of waited for the green square in the second shot and these are the first outdoor pictures i have taken with the N95 8GB. Also i am on heavy meds so even focusing is not easy for me nor keeping my hands steady.

Anyway here are some other shots kindly re sized for me by JoJo as they were all over 2mb.

@plankgatan

Either you or i need to go to the opticians i really don't see how you can say the houses look blurry at all and do you realise their are metal railings between the end of the field and the houses and just how far away they are from me. Maybe i will speak to my friend as she is a semi professional photographer and get some advice on what to read to learn about ISO settings and tweaking my settings.

Any way here are the other pictures in the post many thanks to JoJo for all the help as i didn't have a clue how to re size them or post them from my PM's. Sometimes i wonder how i manage to dress myself before going out LOL.

Hmmm . . . Nice indeed Well done. Whoever argue - N95 is lame when it comes to photography must be out of his mind. Cyber-shot or not, SE are screwing up big times nowadays. After the initial cyber shot 'WOW' factor, market share is flat once again (actualy has dropped slightly in the last quarter - if anything)

I have to agree.

Well then shut the f**k up, everyone is tired of your bullshit.

Now, now, don't be so self-centric. That's just your opinion, not everyone else's.

No that's most probably my fault more than the camera, what distance should i be from the subject? That was most probably the first shots i have taken in 3-4 months maybe longer.

I will try and take some better shots tomorrow but a lot depends on just how much pain i am in. But they will still only be all on Auto as i mentioned i have no idea what any of the settings actually do, sad but true.

Hi all,

Well despite the amount of mind blowing pain and mind bending medications i am on i manged to take a few more shots for your pleasure/ amusement.

Oh and please remember i am both a pretty useless photographer and all shots are single shots only not the best of multiple shots and all all taken with the Auto settings on starting the camera.

Hey @DOGMAN Have you already upgraded your N95 to the latest firmware? Time between shots has been shorten remarkably as well as cam startup time
furthermore, picture quality in night-mode has been improved too. And there are tons of other improvements (only mentioned the ones related to this tread)

I recently read on some internet site someone reviewing the N95. Now whilst i love that phone and i also might add cant stand the K850i the reviewer was comparing the N95 to a Digital SLR Camera. WHAT i could not believe what i was reading these people testing cameras must have been testing them on a drunken night out. Awful. I am a snob im afraid to say i prefer dedicated digital cameras to phone ones my phone ones are just for fun. I have a top of the range Panasonic camera its stunning phone cameras will never compare.
