no i mean ever sony ericsson phone has to have edge to be quad-band

Quad-band (GSM 850 / GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900) does not imply EDGE.

Z520 and Z525 are exceptions. These are quad-band without EDGE.

i dont think that low end fones and some mkd range fones will be quadbands... maybe in the future it will be a standard, but not atm
