Let's share opinions about the new middle/low end clamshell announced today
I really like the design, somethin' like Moto's PEBL
Some pics and info here:
The new Sony Ericsson Z320 is perfect for those that want a compact phone with a simple camera on-board for those impromptu photo moments. The Z320 is a megapixel clamshell phone that is good looking and simple to use. With just one press of a button to switch on the 1.3 megapixel camera it’s quick to shoot, store or share spontaneous shots.
“Sony Ericsson is all about offering the right phone for you, whether that’s one that lets
you snap quality pictures, listen to favourite songs on the move or just stay in touch,” says Sony Ericsson President, Miles Flint. “These two camera phones offer the choice between a viable digital camera alternative and a pocket-sized clamshell phone with camera for taking occasional snapshots.”
Everything about this clamshell camera phone makes it ideal for fun-and-style seekers everywhere. So much so that you’ll never want to leave it behind.
Share your memories – Discover and enjoy the fun of taking and sending pictures from wherever you are. The Z320 has a 1.3 megapixel camera that can be activated by one press on the navigation key. Refine the camera settings, including night mode and white balance, to get the best shot.
Pocket your pictures – The Z320 can store up to 100 of your favourite pictures and has an easy menu system that makes it simple to search, view and share your images. Send them over a mobile network (MMS) or via a computer using email. Getting your pictures to your computer is easy. Use infrared or plug in a USB cable (optional accessory) and drag and drop.
Brighten up your life – The Z320 is available in a colour choice of Crimson Red or Atlantic Blue. If you feel like something new, the exchangeable front and back Style-Up™ covers (available separately) can be changed to suit your taste.
The Z320’s good looks are enhanced by a retro style icon display which lights up to alert you to an incoming call or message. The 1.8” 65K internal display, meanwhile, is perfect for viewing your pictures.
The Z320 is a GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 and 850/1800/1900 clamshell phone and will be available in selected markets from Q3 2007.

And yeah, Z series is mainly aimed to women
I'm in love with the retro icon though |

So SE have produced two nice girly phones and given them crap cameras. The good cameras are a bit butch and won't fit comfortably in a little handbag.
Obviously us girls don't worry about things like good specs!!!
Way to go SE alienate half the population.

I do think it's a girly phone.
I'd like it if it had better specs. But hell what do I know I'm just a girl!
The misogenists at SE probably think they can tie two paper cups together with a piece of string, paint it pink and us girls will buy it!

Retro design, but I'm more into the design of the Z310.
