its ugly(ish) by todays standard, but it fitted the:se: image at the time and was comparable with other  phones of the time.
It was also the first to offer something other than memory stick for external storage!
The "touch" buttons were useless though
I gave mine to my son and he still uses it as a backup phone to his N8. (my emergency phone is still my mocha W890 when I don't have some android phone)

But I love designs yet even back then I thought it was nasty looking cos I hated the keys that terrible navigation key & the glossy black plastic made it look & feel cheap & it was chubby

baaahhh....k850 ugly ????? well, it ten times more beautiful then most new cellphones....thats for sure.
just look at the Design on new phones this days; Yendo, Spiro, Zylo, N8, C7  or whatever weird names they have.....
if we talking aesthetic cellphone-Design, K850 is still in the lead.

Just at the back... 
With automatic lens cover, that was great..
I don't like the front side with strange key...
And i heard that k850 often had an error, is this true?

K850i' design is very coool & unique. Specially the backside and the sim & battery compartment. Its not ugly at all. I still own this handset

Actually I did really mean to say the back yes looks cool as it even looks like a proper camera. But I still think the front is not one of most stylish by a long shot

 yes it was the first of the new a2 phones back then I think and the new OS got off to a buggy start.

I absolutely loved my green one. There were a lot of dodgy examples around but I never had any problems with mine at all after I updated the firmware.
I REALLY miss the powerful Xenon flash and I don't take as many pictures as I used to. They should release an 8+ megapixel version just to keep the Cyber-shot flame alive.

Still have mine as a back-up, had no issues with it.
Maybe it helped, that I bought it, when it was appr. six months on the market, as we do with all our phones, they're cheaper then and have less bugs 
Even though I couldn't do without my smartphones anymore, I'd love to have a new Cyber-shot for my second number.

K850 has great back side
but front (keypad area) no good.
phone feel like glass. it break easily if dropped.
K850 is one of the best cameraphones ever made..
powerful xenon, large lens
K850 has design flaw like C905 : LCD Display flex damage due to keypad pressure.
K850 can even beat the C905 camera quality.
