i'm guessing DCU-65 is for new slim chassis phones, since i'm sure the DCU-60 is way too big for the W880

Yeah. a lot of that 5mm comes from the camera shutter and buttons being bigger on the K800i. I think it could be possible.

I like the ivory-coloured version and I like the look of the new buutons but I am worried about what they will be like to use. I've never seen buttons like that before.

You can't really blame for repackaging the K800i. After all it was a winning formula for them.

You could argue that the W810 was not a great leap up from the W800i but it still turned out to be arguably more successful.

Couple of new camera feature and a new body should be enough to give it a new designation but admittedly there isn't much fur current K800i owners to upgrade to. If Sofia is on the shelves by May then it that would be a timely upgrade.

For me the aesthetic line of the k800 more is cured.
In this k810 the round keys are very beautiful, but joined to all the rest they seem ugly. Then i think the keys are not so usable as square keys....

the k810 is what the k800 was meant to be... apparently k800 was cut short because of the w850.... the k800 was meant to have a different design, more internal memory, better video....
