Those files are just older versions of the archives created by den_po!
The other case i mean that there´s another file in the package which is w550_r2e_dcu.49r.ssw ! This file is for W550 owner´s only ! |

@ 3rick - I've connected my with PhoneXS already... I've flashed it like what's in your tutorial... My problem now is when i open FAR manager and press ALT-F1, i don't see SEFP. I've copied the one i've downloaded to the FAR manager folder under PLUGINS... Why can't i see the SEFP folder? |

Before you copy the files that are in the db2010cid49_3_2.rar.zip you must already have Far Manager 1.70 plus SEFP plugin installed!
Do this : go to far manager folder , then plugins ! See if theres´s a folder named SEFP ! If there´s one DELETE it!
Download now this file which is the plugin SEFP for Far Manager ! Extract it inside the Plugins folder of Far Manager!
Link: http://sephone.nm.ru/tools/SEFP010044.zip
Now take the file from den_po , copy the folder SEFP and paste it in the Plugin folder of Far Manager! It will then Add some files and scripts!
Now open Far , press ALT+F1 and you shall see the SEFP option! |

After you pressed the Enter the Matrix button you must do the same process you did with PhoneXs so it can recognise the phone! With the C button pressed , plug the cable on the phone ! Then Far will recognise it! |

If you want to change something on your phone which i believe you want otherwise you wouldn´t do this process is now !! This is the part where you can access all the folders and files on your phone!
Remember to backup files before changing! |

why is there a FLASHING (where we choose files from /REST folder) part in the process?
does this mean that the process you just showed us also contains a part where we can FLASH our CID49 with a different firmware? like Davinci and Wotan are doing?
is there any finalizations needed?
how can we back up our EROM if we must first flash CID49 phones to be recognize by FAR.

if the procedure went fine then nothings wrong...
try to rest your phone for awhile.. take of the batt...
then after replacing back, press the power button for about 1 sec.
then wait as your phone reacts... try pressing the power buttons with intervals...
