that's what I said yesterday 
It seems that (I'm talking for french versions) the branded version of the firmware has been released before the others.
It can be explained by the fact that for a while K610's availability was an Orange exclusivity. |

I'm not sure as I have a branded one, but I think the answer is: not yet.
Try to connect to SEUS, you'll have the good answer. |

I've just updated my unbranded k610i via SEUS to the latest firmware R1ED001. My language group is EUROPE 4.
I guess then that the new firmware is available via SEUS for unbranded phones...
I also have a question.
After updating, my EROM still reads R3A011. I got a message from Wotan Server that it's an old EROM version. Doesn't SEUS update the EROM as well? And is the EROM update important?

and the same version of EROM (R3A001) after using SEUS

Regarding my earlier question about EROM, I've read in a post about k800 firmware updates that SEUS doesn't update EROM at least not at the moment. We have to go to a service center or use Wotan to update EROM. It's a free update on Wotan, but you have to have at least one credit on your account.

Well, I've read in the firmware section for k800 that the erom is like the bios on a computer. It also has some bugs like white screen. I have sometimes experienced white screen after going through menues in my k610i. Now after updating to the latest firmware, instead of white screen, I can sometimes experience that the phone goes immedeately into standby modus (screen light turns itself off) when I push a button inside menues. I hope that might be corrected with an erom update. I know Wotan Server offers this, but I'm not sure if it's worth it since I have the latest firmware and have to have a credit on woltan to update the erom.
I was hoping someone who knows more about the erom can give me an advice.
