About the events menu in the activity menu causing blank outs:
Its theme dependent... And the activity menu itself doesn't blank out... just the stuff around it. So it’s not so bad... |

Oh and @c_vignesh:
My old k700i allowed me to explore the menu while I was making a call... Am not too sure about sending an SMS though.
And @ everyone else:
FAR can't be used with a Z550i right? So there is no way to eliminate the java security prompts right? |

@SE4NICK:
WTF?!? You don't get the 'allow the app to send a message', 'allow the app to read/write data' etc etc security prompts when using an app that needs filesystem or messaging access? |

I just upgraded to R6CA009 via SEUS.
Camera version is still 2.0
Java is now 6.5
Anyone know where I can find a list of changes?
EDIT1: Just noticed the first change... everything is faster... all the menus etc etc... And the fancy menu animation seems to have been speeded up too.
EDIT2: Its been 4 months and Mf flip is fine. Its been 'flipped' 14,434 times so far
EDIT3: Sorry for the confusion: I messed up while editing this post...

@C_vignesh:
Haven't noticed any changes... Camera drivers haven't changed after all. And Yup, the Z550i's cam sucks compared to the K510i etc...
Edit: Through a datacable... The GPRS based update service doesn't work for me...
@SE4NICK:
Yes, you need the datacable unless you have a GPRS connection and yes your firmware is the latest...

@C_vignesh:
Can you post your Jbenchmark 3D scores? I want to compare Java version 6.4 and 6.5...
And do you have any idea how to get rid of Java security prompts on a Z550i? Either patching or Halmer certificates? |
