I totally agree with you Tigas !

Right now I'm using the t68i I bought last week, and it cannot make me forget my t39. I guess it's a good phone, but as we are talking about the magnesium frame of the t39, this bloody t68i squeaks when I use it !

It's definitively not as rigid as the t39. When I play or dial phone numbers there's a horrible plastic noise that did not occur with my t39... I suppose it has to do with the possibility of changing covers too...

Opposite feeling here mate I am more excited with my 2nd hand bought T68i pal. Though honestly, there are times that I contemplate on getting me one of those old-model Ericsson fones too -T39m or a T28 will also do . . .

Here's my T68i:

Hi I have not been back for a while, but have now managed to replace my silver stolen R520m, with another copper le mans one. As far as I know it is not a prototype one this time, but as I have not got it yet, I will only find out for sure when it arrives. Bought it a couple of days ago of ebay, for £25 boxed with an extra ericsson desk top charger, spare battery, and so the owner says, it has only been used twice. Will let you all know what it is like when it arrives. Ohh and the prototype one is still going strong, just a pain to use, as with it being one of the first prototypes, it has a few bugs. I have found out, that it is about number 5 in the prototype line up, and there were only 10 TU1 protos made.

just be aware that most of the batteries they sell for older phones are non-original batteries...

@bobafett - Flip count must be in 'millions' already mate (since it's an OLD/VINTAGE model) The battery is not original anymore, so, I decided to buy me another 'class A' batt - just in case (spare). Cytech is right with his last post, it's very HARD to find original batts for vintage Ericsson fone models nowadays ! [addsig]
