I want the alarm on my K750i to only vibrate at a certain time instead of sounding off. How do I make a silent alarm? Even if the phone is on silent mode the alarm goes off with sound.

The reason I'm doing this is that I don't want to wake up my wife with an audible alarm.

I'm fairly certain there is no alarm option for that

given that an alarms sole purpose in life is to wake those nearby I'm also somewhat intrigued by the notion that such a 'vibrate only' function would wake just yourself

Try creating a 'sound' file with no content (create an empty file and give it an .mp3 tag) then select it as the alarm signal. [addsig]

Making a silent mp3 file doesnt work because the phone still won't vibrate.

And to answer an earlier post, I'll put the phone somewhere where only I'll feel the vibration and not my wife. Hence it won't wake her up! Where I put the phone, well that's up to your imagination. hehe

With an alarm system like that, you may no longer need your wife! jk

Or! You keep it in your mouth while you sleep??

It seems the alarm will always vibrate if the phone is in silent mode (and that profile is set to 'Vibrate when in silent mode'). If you got in the habit of putting your phone into Silent before bed (or always in silent), combined with the silent MP3 ring tone trick, which absinthebri suggested - you should be able to achieve what you are after?
